Underwriting Support
The new EDGE underwriting manual reflects
the latest in medical and mortality research to
ensure underwriting decisions that are based
on actuarially sound evidence. EDGE was
developed and is continuously updated by a
team of physicians, underwriters, analysts
and biometric research experts. The manual
is easy to use, available around the clock and
features tools that help make the underwrit-
ing process smoother. Life and disability
income modules are available.
We realize that underwriting support is a
critical component of most reinsurance rela-
tionships. In addition to EDGE, we strive to put
industry best practices to work for our clients.
We offer some of the largest capacity available
and back it with competitive assessments and
excellent time service. Our underwriters and
medical staff are empowered to commit that
capacity without the limitations imposed by
outside retrocessionaires.
